Award season is in full bloom, and after Golden Globe here comes the SAG nominations 2010.
SAG (Screen Actors Guild) Awards 2010 nominations have been announced and seriously, there are no surprises. The guess were quite a sure shot. ‘Up in the Air’ and ‘Precious’ as well as ‘Inglorious Bastards’ are leading the SAG nominations 2010 with three nominations each. ‘The Hurt Locker’, ‘Nine’, ‘An Education’, ‘Precious’, and ‘Inglorious Bastards’ are also nominated for the SAG’s overall cast prize.
‘Up in the air’ takes three nominations including the nominations for Best lead actor and Best Supporting Actress. George Clooney, Vera Farmiga, and Anna Kendrick – all three prominent characters from ‘Up in the Air’ have been nominated for SAG nominations 2010. Jeff Bridges is also nominated for the Best lead actor category against Clooney. Other nominations for Best lead actors include Colin Firth, Morgan Freeman, and Jeremy Renner.
For the best supporting actress of SAG nominations 2010 Mo’Nique will be competing against Vera Farmiga and Anna Kendrick.
Mo’Nique appeared as a teenager’s mother in ‘Precious’ while the teenager Gaboure Sidibe has been nominated for the category of best lead actress in SAG nominations 2010 against Sandra Bullock and Helen Mirren. Sandra bullock is nominated for her acting honors as a foster mother of an NFL star in ‘The Blind Side’. Our very own beauty goddess Penelope Cruze is nominated for the best supporting actress for her acting honors in ‘Nine’.
The SAG nominations 2010 nominations for best supporting actors include Matt damon, Woody Harrelson, and Christopher Plummer as well as Stanley Tucci.
SAG nominations 2010 nominations were almost the same as of Golden Globes which were announced a day ago with few exceptions. Does this mean that we have got all the hints for Oscars too?
