The Strong earth quake of Samoa of America, forced the National Weather Services to make the arrangements to face the Tsunami, as they issued a precautionary advice to the Pacific coast residents. The residents are asked to be alert for the Tsunami from Oregon-Washington border to the Mexican Border.
The earth quake was as noticeable as 8 to 8.3 on the rector scale of American Samoa today.
The authorities are very much positive as they reported that the San Francisco was expected to be safe as compare to other areas like Crescent City and San Luis. These areas can expected to receive high rush but nothing alarming is expected at San Francisco.
The authorities told that strong and extensive flood is not expected in these areas but the strong and high rocking waves, speedy wind and solid currents can turn the situation into a dangerous scenario.
The waves can reaches up to the height of around 25 inches at the coast from the normal level. The people around has been advised to stay away from the water and beaches.
The spokesman of the National Weather Service told that we know that Tsunami is reaching but we can’t forecast the damage as it is very unusual situation.
The authorities stated that the wave’s activity is being closely monitored and it doesn’t reach the level to alarm the evacuation.
