The icon of entertainment, fun, colorful history, dramatic fanciful Magic and glamour celebrated its 100 year of existence.
The package includes delighted ride of Pacific pair, swimming, dinning, shopping and many more. This cannot be defined even in words. Intangible features like the feelings emotions, absolute pleasure and happiness. These are the things which have been on hand at Santa Monica pier since 100 years and they are getting more and stronger as the time go on.
The pier is a Hollywood attraction. It has been a clip in number of well-liked Hollywood movies like Funny Girl (1968), Forrest Gump (1994), The Majestic (2001) and many more.
The Santa Monica pier came into existence in 1909 and it was built on Pacific ocean. The pier has to face furious power of storms, unleashed Mother natural world, ravage of change and progress of financial adversity. No one ever thought that while facing these uphill hurdles pier would survive for 100 years. But the pier stood inflexible on its feet.
A campaign was launched by wedged people named “save our pier forever” against the decision of the city council to tear the pier and due to the strong movement city council was forced to ever the decision. Million of annual visitors visit the pier .To entertain and delight the international and national tourists, the enthusiasm for pleasure pier has never decreased over the years.
The great celebrations of Santa Monica pier include the series of free entertainment, public events and festivals. They also planned to focus on the rich history of pier by memorizing, recreating, and paying homage to the memorable moments of pier right from the beginning till to date. The celebrations will also highlight the role played by the Santa Monica pier since 100 year in the daily life of the city and it will keep on playing its role.
Celebrities will also be taking part in the grand, spectacle and pageantry celebrations, followed by the heart provoking and mind blowing musical and firework performances.
