The wildlife water park in Orlando, Florida, known for the best killer whale shows in the state underwent a catastrophe today as a whale attacked one of the trainers of Sea World. The accident took place while the trainer was giving her introductory speech to the masses who had gathered to watch the spectacular show. Sea World has been closed after this incident and it is still yet unknown when it will open to the public again. All the guests at Sea World were evacuated after the incident which triggered the siren system at the park.
The attack isn’t the first of its kind as a similar incident took place in the early seventies, in the year 1971 to be more precise, when a whale had assaulted a trainer as well. Though this time the magnitude of the incident was much larger as the trainer was declared dead shortly after the paramedics appeared at the scene. An eye witness gives her observation saying that while the trainer was giving her introductory words the whale took a swift round of the pool in which she was kept and came up to the glass after which she grabbed the trainer by the waist and started jerking her about with extreme intensity. In fact, there was so much jerking of her body that one of her shoe had come of and could be seen in the water. The audience gaped at the sight not knowing what to do and could be seen covering their mouths in utter disbelief.
The strength and brutality with which the trainer was attacked left little doubt about the outcome and as it had been expected, the paramedics confirmed her dead.
