Semenya Gender Test Results

The makeover didn’t work for Semenya.

The winner of women’s 800 meter world title last month, Caster Semenya’s gender test result has been received by International Athletes Association Federation and will call on the meeting with South African runner before the report completion.

The story published by Australian Sydney morning Herald newspaper that the Semenya got both male and female organs, was not confirmed by the spokesman of IAAF, Nick Daivd through email on Thursday.

He said we haven’t seen the reports yet, though we did received the reports, they would have been examined by a group of experts and we will not be able to speak with the athlete earlier then few weeks. After getting through the reports properly, we will discuss the scenario with the athlete in a private meeting.

A report has been published by the newspaper from Australia in its Friday edition that the test reports results shows that Semenya got internal testes instead of ovaries, and a large number of testosterone is being produced by them.

The runner underwent a gynecological examination, blood and chromosomes tests after her face domination in the world championship in Berlin last month.

The IAAF allowed Semenya that she probably would keep the medal as her case didn’t fall in doping case.

The IAAF Spokesman further wrote that if she proves to have an edge due to male hormones, then it would be very difficult to strip the medal as she has not cheated, rather its all naturally made and she have been introduced by her team and accepted by IAAF, so lets wait till the final decision be taken.

In reaction the country’s president of Athletes criticize the media that they have used the insulting language and we got no information regarding the reports so we are still in dark. And how deep she can be hurt by these kinds of reports, no one can realize.

Well, it is very strange that to find person’s gender, it can take so long. Let’s wait for her or his future to be determine.
