Seydi Burciaga is one of the victims who died of drowning in the Atlanta flood due to heavy rains. Seydi Burciaga was 39-years-old. She was one of the ten victims who met their eternal fate during the flood swept-offs on the roads.
This week, continuous heavy rains flooded several areas in Georgia. Wednesday was the first dry after it rained heavily in Georgia and Tennessee. The heavy rain caused deadly flood which took multiple lives. According to the news, the death toll has reached to nine while one person is missing. It is believed that the missing person has been drowned. Most of the deaths occurred when the cars were swept off by the flood water from the roads. The warnings have been issued by the state government. The residents of Georgia are instructed to stay in their homes after flood has caused swept-aways which resulted into several fatalities.
Six people were died in the western part of Atlanta while one person is till missing in Tennessee. Two died in Georgia while the last recent death was in the northwestern areas of Atlanta. According to the reports, the victims died of being trapped in flood water. The flash flood swept off their cars form the road side and they could not get out of the cars, according to the 911 rescuers.
Seydi Burciaga also died of being trapped in the flood water in Lawrenceville. She called 911 but the rescuers could not locate her location. She was dead when her minivan was located.
