A horrific scene at the wildlife water park in Orlando which goes by the name of SeaWorld caught the spectators off guard today. A killer whale was responsible for killing a trainer as the trainer got ready to perform a routine show for the audience. While the trainer was giving her introductory words to the audience the killer whale, called Shamu by the park keepers, came up from behind her at a rapid speed and grabbed the trainer by the waist.
The Shamu attack was the most gruesome of its kind and left the trainer dead. The trainer had been one of the closest friends of Shamu and was definitely most experienced with the whale. She was a part of the twenty-eight member training team which takes care and does shows with the whales at the park. The Shamu attack left the audience devastated and they could be seen with their hands to their mouths in complete and utter shock about the incident which had just taken place.
An attack similar to the Shamu attack had taken place thirty-nine years ago in the annum of 1971 when a killer whale had attacked a trainer but the consequences weren’t at all as deadly as this times event. After the Shamu attack the sirens were triggered and the paramedics made their way to the scene to help resuscitate the trainer who was badly beaten. But by the time they had reached her it was too late and she was dead. The park will be closed until further notice and some kind of reimbursement for the tickets might be in line for those who had to vacate the premises due to the attack.
