The Winter Olympics are among the most awaited sporting events. Players from all the countries have come to participate in the games. The Winter Olympics inaugural ceremony took place two days ago. The bronze medal was taken by Shannon Bahrke and the Gold medal was won by Kearney. It was anticipated that all three medals will be claimed by US players, but the Silver medal was taken by a Canadian competitor. The competition was tough as the best players from all the world had come to compete. Shannon Bahrke was among the favorites. She is already an Olympic Silver medalist. She had some surgeries in the recent years and she is in great form once again and claiming the Bronze medal. This is expected to be her last Olympic appearance. She is twenty nine years old; she was born in United States of America. She loved the game since she was a kid. In her early teenage she impressed a coach when she was skiing in a resort and he asked her to join the squad. In her school days she participated in other games as well. She was a true sports lover. She joined the Utah University after high school. She started her professional career twelve years ago. She has earned tremendous success. She has had a number of injuries in her career but she never gave up.
