The singer who topped all the musical charts with her debut song, Sharona Alperin, talks about her music, her hubby, and her real estate business. According to the news, Sharona Alperin gave an interview to a pop magazine recently in which she talked about her real estate business and the effects of recession. Sharona Alperin released her debut song ‘My Sharona’ when she was 17-years-old. Doug Fieger, now her husband, co-wrote the song for her. The couple is celebrating the song’s 30th anniversary now. Doug and Sharona have a 10-year-old daughter and a 6-year-old son together. She remembers her song becoming a hit as very exciting. Sharona told in her interview that her stardom did make a difference in bringing her real estate company in main stream. She also says that she originally belongs to L.A unlike most of the city’s residents and this factor also helped out.
Sharona Alperin told that her real estate business got affected with the recession. She commented about the myth that Hollywood celebrities didn’t get affect with the recession and told that it’s partly true as the film making business has not been affected by the recession but their earning have decreased. Sharona told that majority of the Hollywood stars are share holders in the stock market and with recession when the market crashes their earning gets decreased as well. Hence recession has an indirect effect on her business too.
Sharona Alperin is running a successful celebrity real estate business in Los Angeles. Her clientele includes numerous A-list Hollywood celebrities.
