The Shaun White double McTwist is the talk of the town or should I say country. Even country would be inaccurate because it seems like the whole world is talking about it. In a rare move of confidence, Shaun White exhibited skills that no other competitors could match as he pulled of his famous Shaun White Double McTwist which stunned the world with a total of three and a half complete rotations!
The Shaun White double McTwist came in his second run which was not even necessary since he had gained the gold position in the first run with a score of 46.8.
Rumor has it that Shaun White owns a Halfpipe which was gifted to him by one of his largest sponsors Red Bull. The Halfpipe lies in some discreet location in Colorado which can only be accessed by helicopter other than being able to be seen by satellite. Some observe that it is through his access to this Halfpipe that he has mastered the skills required to pull of a smooth double McTwist.
After his first run he went for the second knowing fully well that none would be able to surpass his previous score of 46.8 but still taking caution and measures to secure his second Olympic gold medal. In his second run you could see that he loosened up a bit and let the moment take control as he flew high above the curves of the Halfpipe. When he pulled the double McTwist, I am sure the whole world must be thinking that he has gone and ruined it for himself but when he landed it must have been the most amazing sight for the entire American and snowboarding population.
