American idol is among the most popular TV reality shows in United States of America. Its format is that it calls people having good singing talent for auditions and selects the persons having good skills. Then all these contestants compete with one another to reach the number one spot and become the American idol. The series has finished eight successful seasons and the ninth season is underway. This season is gaining a lot of popularity among music lovers.
Last night the special episode of the show was broadcasted. The special part of the show was to announce the top twenty four competitors. The judges had already made their minds but last nights show was a final chance for the contestants to tell the judges that they have got potential. So it was a last chance for all contestants to show their best, otherwise they were going to be dropped. All the participants tried to give their best shot.
Shelby Dressel was a contestant in last night’s episode. She has a lovely voice and is a very emotional girl. She is a young girl and is currently working as a waitress. She came to the American idol with her dreams to become the next big star of the music industry. She was unable to make it up to the top twenty four finalists. She is still very ambitious. Shelby Dressel has had a tough life; she had problems when she was born. She could not move her jaw properly. She prepared really well for her final act but she still could not make it. Shelby Dressel has still not given up, and believes that she will become a good singer one day.
