Shipa Shetty tied knots with Raj Kundra, the nuptials were performed in accordance with the Indian Traditions.
- The Engagement Night (Mangni)
Raj Kundra wore traditional Indian white embroidered shirt and trousers (Shalwar Kameez) and is all smiles. Whereas Shilpa Shetty’s engagement dress was designed by Manish Malhotra and consisted of pink saaree with maroon embroidered borders and a golden colored choli (short shirt). Reportedy the engagement ring had solid 14 Karat diamond. Invitees consisted of only family members or close friends.
- The Wedding Night
Shilpa Shetty wedding dress was designed by Tarun Tahiliani. The dress was red colored saaree with tonnes of embroidery load on it. She was wearing forehead jewellery called jhoomar and a heavy necklace consisting of white and green stones. Shilpa had henna on both hands. White and red bangles adorned both hands. The color of the bangle was chosen to match the color of the dress. There was also jewelry around her belly. Her bare back was definitely fully waxed as a preparation for the event.
Family members had put garlands of roses and jasmine flowers in the necks of bride and groom. Raj Kundra was wearing traditional turban around his head with a large stone and a feather at t its front. His dress was a golden colored long shirt called sherwani. And as if something remained to make him look like a clown crown prince he was holding a silver colored mock sword also.

Shamita was wearing a lehnga. She was looking all set to kill in the combination of cream and maroon colors.
- Shilpa Shetty’s Mother
Looking like a traditional Indian mom Sunanda Shetty was wearing a pink saaree with light embroidery.

Shilpa’s father was wearing a very simple white cotton suit.
