Shahini Ahuja has been kept in custody on Sunday by the Oshiwara police as a rape case has been filed against him by her teenage maid. His local teenage maid filed an FIR against Shahini and stated that she had been raped by him when she was alone at home with him at his flat on Sunday. He could be arrested soon in this case.
The maid told to the police that she is 18 years of age and has been working in his home since last one and a half months. Police additional commissioner Amitabh Gupta said to the media that at around 7 pm she came to the police station to lodge her complain and said that she had been raped by Shahini Ahuja this afternoon.
The maid further explained the police that she had got a job for some domestic works to Shahini’s flat more than one month ago. We were alone in the flat as his wife was out of the house. He took me to the bedroom, choked me and rapped. She said it all happened on Sunday between 3 pm to 5 pm. The victim told the police that after that I went into the shock.
After that I went to my relative’s house and came to the police station with her relative to file the FIR. Right after filing the FIR, the maid was directed toward the police hospital Nagpada to pass through the medical examination. And the initial examination report is expected in the next morning. Police spokesman said we still have to verify the age of the girl.
