Yesterday night at the BET Awards, it was almost all about Michael Jackson, but not every moment is about him, Jamie Foxx and Martin Lawrence’s faux movie promo preview known as “Shank Robbers” boosted the BET Awards too. Jamie Foxx revived his character “Wanda Reid” from “In Living Color” and coupled it with Martin Lawrence’s classic character “Sheneneh Jenkins” makes an outstanding and hilarious parody faux promo “Skank Robbers.”
The BET Awards started with Host Jamie Foxx’s performance over Michael Jackson’s “Beat it” video and the crowd was on their feet from the start of the show.
The whole time, Jamie Foxx frequently turned up in some if Michaels signature outfits and performed on many of the legendary songs, I must say what a show to put-up in a nick of time, and performances by Beyonce, O’Jays, New Edition and Ne-Yo were incredible.
Besides that BET Awards has celebrated the life of Michael Jackson all night long. Janet Jackson appeared in BET awards and thanked the audience for their support.
She said that for most people Michael Jackson was an icon but for her he was family and he will live forever among them in their hearts.
It was an inspiring touching atmosphere for a broadcast that was entirely refurbished to celebrate the memories of the legend Michael Jackson.
