Slim Fast milk shakes and diet drink has been recalled by Unilever. If you are a regular customer of Slim fast, you will be missing Slim Fast today, the Unilever recalled all the slim fast diet drink due to the possibility of contamination.
It has been reported that Unilever is recalling all the stock of Slim Fast available in the market due to a bacteria that can cause infection within the 30 minutes to 15 hours after usage of Slim Fast drinks.
The company issued the recall orders without any specification like, flavor, manufacturing date, expiry date, lot number or any other. They recalled all Slim Fast Shakes and Diet Drinks.
They asked to lift all the stock available to avoid any problems later on.
The B. Cereus Bacteria forced the company to recall all the stock from the market. The B. cereus bacteria are non lethal bacteria. If somehow, you are infected you wont be dying, that for sure.
However, this is not the safe and right time to drink any of Slim Fast products. Epidemiologists explained that these kinds of bacteria are available in Asian and Mexican restaurants.
Well, the consumers of Slim Fast are requested to stop drinking Slim Fast. If you are having any stock of Slim Fast, you must throw it away.
Unilever expressed that the production will resume after fixation of this issue.
