Slim fast recalls all the diet drinks and shakes from the market due to possibility of bacterial presence in the drinks. Unilever recalls all the stock from the market as they analyzed and realized that their product might be containing harmful bacteria that can cause food poising.
The company authorities states the bacteria are not harmful to the lives of people but it can cause food poisoning. They also stated that there are no reported cases of food poisoning after using the slim fast drinks. Even then for the safety of the consumers, they stopped further sales recalled all the available stock from the market.
Unilever officials issued the recall orders by informing the shop keepers to stop further sales and advise them to return the stock to the company, at the same time, they also advised the consumers that if they are carrying or having the slim fast drinks stored, and they are asked to throw then out to avoid any issues.
Well, the slim fast drinks are very common to reduce weight and the regular consumers of the slim fast drinks will have to find out the alternative drinks for some time.
Unilever hasn’t specified any batch no’s, expiry or manufacturing dates, they recalled all the stock available in the market, they stop their production and the production of the slim fast drinks will resume after solving the problem. The company hasn’t provided any time line for the reproduction and to resume the supplies to the markets.
