A snaffle’s complete name is “snaffle bit” and it is a category of bit used for security purpose during horse riding. It is an essential part of the bridle of the horse. It contains a bit mouth piece with a disk or ring on both sides and works with undeviating and direct force. A bridle using only one snaffle bit is usually known as a “snaffle bridle”. And the bridle that contains two bits, a snaffle and a curb is called a double bridle.
It is used to pressurize the horse to control its speed and movement. The National Reined Cow Horse Association (NRCHA), 2009 arranged an open sale that is known as “Snaffle Bit Futurity Sales”. This sale was demonstrated by Markel Insurance. This sale was held in Reno, Nevada, from 1st to 3rd of October.
The NRCHA Sales was arranged for the Horse and Cattle owners offer the best projections, breeding material and show horses for the Reined horse and cow market for advertisement along with exceptional horses for Cutting and Reining supporters. A management service was provided by Virginia Professional Auction Services, Inc., for the NRCHA Snaffle Bit Futurity Sales of the year 2009.
The NRCHA participants, who intend to purchase horses at the Snaffle Bit Futurity Horse Sales of NRCHA, were insured by strong and well known insurance companies. Impermanence exposure and coverage was provided and this sale or show for the stable and sure horse’s purchase price.
