As if all the publicity “Jersey Shore” is attracting around itself is not enough; there comes the Snookie Punched incident and everybody has started asking the motive behind showing this on National Television. Snookie punched video shows a scene from a bar, everybody is seen partying. Snookie is standing with a guy. She is wearing a yellow colored cap and a blue dress. She is seen talking something with the guy. The guy is clearly muscular and is wearing black Ts. He is looking at his back and as Snookie says something he abruptly turns and throws a strong punch at Snookie’s face. Apparently the punch is much more than enough to make Snookie lie down on the floor with her hands on her face. Later on the punch man is seen escorted by the police and is handcuffed.
Reports have emerged that the bar where the Snookie Punched incident happened is called “Beachcomber Bar & Grill”. According to the police reports the man was drunk. It is also reported that Snookie got punched only for a drink! As the man turned he asked Snookie’s drink, when she refused, the drunk punched her in the face. The name of the man has also emerged as Ferro. The punch has cost Mr. Hunk $ 500 and enrollment in anger management classes – good for him.
But the debate really is about whether such act of violence should have been aired in the first place? MTV definitely has achieved its objective, the incident has gained much hype and people everywhere are talking about Jersey Shore, Snookie Punched.
