The longest Solar Eclipse will occur in 21st century on 22nd of July, 2009. The moon will pass between the Earth and Sun to create the Eclipse and will only be surpassed in duration on 13th of June, 2132.
The Solar Eclipse of July 22 will have a magnitude of 1.080 and it will be visible between 5:28 a.m to 7:40 a.m in a narrow passage throughout the Northern India, Eastern Nepal, Northern Bangladesh, Bhutan, the Northern tip of Myanmar, Central China and the Pacific Ocean including the Marshall Islands, Ryukyu Islands and Kiribati.
Entirety it will last for up to six minutes and forty three seconds with the utmost Eclipse happening in the sea at 02:35:21 UTC approximately hundred kilometers south of the “Bonin Islands”, Southeast of Japan. According to the NASA, Taregana (a place 25 kilometers from Patna in India) is the most appropriate ground place to watch the Solar Eclipse on the 22nd July.
