Sometimes They Come Again is a movie in the series of films “Sometimes They Come back”. The film was released in 1995. A horror movie co-written by the master of horror- Stephen King.
As Psychologist Jon Porter is selected as their target by evil spirits, he proves to be too strong for them. The news of the death of Jon Porter’s mother makes him to visit his hometown. He takes his young daughter Michelle along. Being a psychologist himself, he is to fight his childhood demons when his sister Lisa was murdered by a criminal named Tony Reno and his gang. Though Jon was not able to save his sister, he was there to avenge the death of his sister. The gang’s victory was transformed into defeat as Jon put a live electric wire in the pool where they were standing, electrocuting them immediately.
Meanwhile Michelle finds herself in an inconvenient situation as she befriends with mentally deranged person named Steve. Moreover the situation is made complex by the fact that boy with the name of the murderer who killed Jon’s sister falls in love with Michelle. However it is Michelle’s friend Maria who loves the guy.
Then there is a town priest who constantly disturbs Jon. The priest drops the bomb shell and informs Jon that his mother’s death was not natural or accidental.
The target of evil spirits is now Jon’s young daughter Michelle. Jon is the only person who can stop the forces that killed her sister from doing the same to his daughter.
Sometimes They Come Again was followed by the sequel Sometimes They Come Back … For More and perhaps the average quality of the previous movie compelled the director to improve the quality. The sequel happened to be the best movie in the series.
