The idea that was initially brought to reality by the company Nintendo has made its way to the Sony headquarters as they have launched the Sony Move technology which is similar to the motion sensitive console controls which were first introduced in the Nintendo Wii. The launch of Sony Move was made on Wednesday at the Games Developers Conference which took place in the city of San Francisco in the state of California. Though the Sony Move has been introduced by Sony, the new technology for Sony will hit the open market in the fall season this year so all of you who own a Playstation 3, the console for which the gadget was made, will have to wait a few more months.
The vice president for the company’s marketing department has stated that the gadget which goes by the name of Playstation Move will be available on the market for less than a hundred dollars. The gadget has a globe on top of the control which lights up and will be sold in a bundle of three items which includes the Playstation Move, a free game and the Playstation Eye which is the part of the console that will decipher the motions of the hand and then translate them into game controls.
The gadget will be connected to the console through the Bluetooth technology. The gadget is a highly sensitive device that can depict every single motion, gesture and angle that the user is making and a demonstration was given at the conference to show its advanced nature.
