A number of famous celebrities were also present in order to bless the couple. The stage was set with gold color and rows of white flowers. Thousands of people wearing silk cloth came to the ceremony. There were also several people present to provide hospitality to the guests. The ceremony took place at the Rani Meyyammani Hall. The hall started to fill at half past thirty in the morning. There were several high profile people invited to the ceremony. The father of the girl was wearing her usual attire a white shirt and a dhoti.
Soundarya Rajinikanth wedding was worth attending and the people who were invited but were unable to attend due to certain reasons are now feeling sad. After the traditional and religious ceremonies the bride changed her clothes and wore a nine yard long red colored saree. It has been reported that around three thousand guest had breakfast and five thousand people shall come for having lunch.
