Spinnerette is an “Alternative rock” band of America consisting of Brody Dalle, Tony Bevilacqua, Jack Irons and Alian Johannes. Brody Dalle and Tony Bevilacqua are former members of “The Distiller, Jack Irons is “Red Hot Chili Peppers, Pearl Jam, Eleven” and Alain Johannes is “Queens of the Stone Age, Eleven”. In the March 2007, Brody Dalle announced the appearance of the band.
Before negotiating their mode out of their record contract the band was signed to “Sire Records” and has released 1 demonstration song on their website known as “Case of the Swirls”. At present the band signed to “Anthem Records”. A “mash-up” of material Spinnerette have been working to appear on their official website and MySpace page in early January 2008. The complete album was released on 17th of June, 2009.
According to a blog which was posted on the MySpace of band on 8th of August, 2008, now fans can hear the 1st song from the forthcoming album through the official website of band. This song is known as “Valium Knights”. Most lately, Brody Dalle played a live version of “Driving Song” with “Queens Of The Stone Age” as a supporting band for the “Natasha Shneider” profit concert. Lyrics of the song have been posted on the MySpace page of Spinnerette.
