Spirit Airlines is an American airline providing services to its customers since the last thirty years. The airline provides tickets and other services at a quite cheaper rate as compared to other airline services.
Recently the pilots of the airlines threatened to go on strike if their salaries are not increased up to the ones being taken by the other competitive airline pilots. This was a shock to the company as if there were no pilots who will fly the plane and without any flights the airline is just worthless. The Spirit airlines strike made by the pilots was scheduled to start at midnight. Due to the Spirit airlines strike the company has cancelled many flights; the people who were to fly on those flights are really annoyed. Some of them stated that this is the most unorganized services they ever faced. They did not even make a phone call and just said at the time of boarding that we are sorry we don’t have any pilots, the people were given an amount of seventy five dollars to rush to the Miami airport so that they might catch a plane from there. This strike has really had a bad impact on the reputation of the company. The people are wondering that this airline is not just unjust to its customers but also to its employees, as that’s the reason why the pilots went on strike. The Spirit airlines strike is soon to get finished as the negotiations between the pilots and the management are taking place, and it is believed that there shall be a settlement really soon.
