St. Patrick’s day is a holiday celebrated annually on seventeenth March. It is named after a saint St. Patrick. It was a Christian holiday followed by the Irish people. People wear green on this day but the color associated with St. Patrick’s was blue.

Many celebrations are made for the event. In America the people paint the parade route in green. The Indianapolis dyes their river green on every St. Patrick’s day.
