WWE, World Wrestling Entertainment’s SummerSlam 2009 was organized here on Sunday in Los Angeles, which was rather greater and bigger than the previous year event and attracting even such people who do not want to see only due to the attention of media on it, which has made it one of the most witnessed sports event.
SummerSlam 2009 is a special wrestling pay-per-view (PPV) occasion, which is produced by the professionals of World Wrestling Entertainment every year in August. Back to the history, the event was initiated in 1988, with its debutant event held at Madison Square Garden in New York on August 29, 1988. Dissimilar to the Royal Rumble of that year, broadcast as a television special on USA Network, the event was a pay-per-view. The event was formed as a pay-per-view to assist the company in competing against competitor promotion World Championship Wrestling (formerly Jim Crockett Promotions).
This event has been known as the biggest event of the summer and along with Royal Rumble, Survivor Series and Wrestle Mania, the event is said to be one of the “Big Four” pay-per-views and was one of the basic 4 annual World Wrestling Entertainment pay-per-views.
This principal event of the summer was viewed at 8 pm ET/5pm PT on various TV channels and a large number of viewers had amused themselves from this program.
