Susan Sarandon and Tim Robbins split news is really disappointing for the people who considered their relationship as exemplary. Though Susan and Tim never married they remained together for more than two decades. The relationship that started at the sets of ‘Bull Durham’ proved a durable one and withstood many ups and downs in its wake.
Susan’s rep Teal Cannady issued the statement that Susan Sarandon and Tim Robbins have split during summer. He refrained from providing details of the separation and made it clear that no further explanation would be provided.
Though Susan and Tim never married during those 23 years, they have two sons together (recently Susan said that growing up her son wanted to marry her!). Before Tim, Susan was married to Chris Sarandon. Chris and Susan were class fellows. After Chris Susan dated Franco Amurri and they both had a daughter named Eva Amurri. Eva has appeared nude in a recent episode of ‘Californication’.
Despite the fact that Tim Robbins is more than 10 years younger than Susan Sarandon, their relationship was quoted as perfect one.
Susan and Tim shared political views however Susan said that they do not discuss politics at home. Commenting on living together for so many years without getting married, Susan Sarandon commented that she didn’t want him to take her for grated and neither that she take Tim for granted.
Both Susan Sarandon and Tim Robbins are academy award winners and Susan has also worked for popular series Simpsons.
