Tim Tebow, the Quarterback of The University of Florida’s team, had a head injury during the Saturday’s game and was hospitalized. Tim Tebow who is making an effort to play a winning game in the next year’s National Football League draft was playing in the Saturday’s game as a Quarterback for the Florida. During the third quarter, Tim Tebow got hurt while making a drive. He was sacked down by the UK defense end Taylor Wyndham. Tebow struck the knee of Wyndham while he was falling on the ground. Tebow lied on the ground for two minutes without moving. He was motionless for some while. He then got up and walked out of the ground while the fans bid him farewell from the playground with an ovation. He was taken to the locker room on the cart and was then sent to hospital on an ambulance.
Tim Tebow complained about respiratory problems before the game. He traveled on a separate private plane along with few other teammates due to the respiratory problem. It was confirmed earlier in the day, before the start of the match that Tim Tebow and four other team members are suffering with flu-like symptoms. It was reported by the media that Tebow, cornerback Joe Hayden, Major Wright and Florida’s wide receiver Riley Cooper are suffering with respiratory infection. Tim Tebow participated in the game despite the symptoms but got hurt with a head and neck injury during the third quarter of the game. Florida coach Urban Meyer commented about his injury and said, “I think he’ll be all right. He took a pretty good shot”.
