ARLINGTON, Virginia—On this Saturday 29th August, 2009 the beloved Senator of all Edward Ted Kennedy was laid to rest alongside his brothers, John F. Kennedy and Robert F. Kennedy at the Arlington Cemetery, the final resting place of this American Legend, and hero was with his brothers while thousands have mourned the death publicly.
Edward Ted Kennedy gravesite is just 100ft from his Brother Robert F. Kennedy’s grave, whereas President John F. Kennedy was buried on a hill in the Cemetery. The body of beloved Senator was flown to his native area Boston from Washington on Saturday, where his family and President Obama were joined by a funeral mass of U.S Politicians, friends and others.
Thousands of people lined on the route of the motorcade, his funeral procession travelled to Capitol Hill and the United States Senate, where Ted Kennedy spent 47 golden years of his life as a politician, and soon after this procession reached to Arlington Cemetery, the most famous United States burial ground for soldiers, justices, American heroes, astronauts, and politicians.
Eight uniformed men from all five branches of United States military removed the flag-wrapped casket of Ted Kennedy from the hearse and his wife Victoria Reggie walked behind closely.
The burial ceremony of great Edward Ted Kennedy ended as soon as the sun set over the Arlington Cemetery.
