There was a time that the man we all know as Terry Crews was just an art student. The man has done a lot in his life and his size would probably make people believe that he still plays professional football for the National Football League but that is not so anymore. Terry Crews has made quite a name for himself though sometimes I wonder if that is the image that he wanted the world to perceive of him. The first time that I saw him on the television in one of the big Hollywood movies he came across as a pansy and it was indeed a strange sight to see such a large and bulky man act so homosexual.
Terry Crews made it in the art world early in his life when he got a scholarship to study arts at the Interlochen Center for Arts, he then later on moved to the Western Michigan University. While he was at WMU doing a major in Arts Terry was also expressing the other, more sporty side of himself as he was playing for the WMU college team at the defensive end. It was in 1991 that Terry would see himself being drafted into a professional football team and it was the Los Angeles Rams who drafted him in the year of 1991 in the eleventh round. So a little late in the selection but nevertheless there.
Terry Crews played football for another seven years and retired in the year of 1998 to do something a little more different and this is where his acting career took off. Although he first started with a little stint on Battle Dome – which is pretty similar to the show of ‘Gladiators’ – he later on went into the professional acting career.
