A small plane was crashed on early Friday when it was approaching to Teterboro Airport, leaving two people seriously wounded by burning.
According to the details, New Jersey police said that a twin-engine Route 46 beech craft had crashed during landing at Teterboro Airport on early Friday morning at 3:20 a.m. The police further said that two persons help themselves to get out of the flamed debris of the plane they were taken to the nearby hospital for treatment. Port Authority respondents and local firemen put the fire down.
The authorities said that the plane took off from Reading PA, was carrying blood samples for a medical lab. The Little Ferry Police Department Chief Ralph Verdi said that they have two witnesses who were watching this scene live when their officers reached there.
The investigations for this incident is underway by the local officers and Federal Aviation Administration as well; anyhow, this accident has left the airports’ administration to take more precautionary measures to avoid such kinds of incidents in future.
Almost fifteen days ago, a little Piper 32-A plane taken off from Teterboro Airport, also crahsed into a Liberty Sightseeing Tours helicopter over the Hudson River, which killed nine people. Records exposed that the Teterboro airport’s air traffic controller was talking on the phone when the crash occurred.
