The Texas basketball team is a part of the University of Texas Austin. It is a member of the National Collegiate Athletic Association. The university is spread around three hundred and fifty acres.

They were also known to be the best undergraduate in the field of accounting in the United States. Now the university has around 16 schools and colleges which include the school of nursing, school of architecture, school of fine arts and school of liberal arts.
