“The Cab” is a rock band of the United States who is a Las Vegas, Nevada based one of the notorious bands of the country. This band is working under contract signed with the “Decaydance Records”. “Whisper War” was the very first album released by this group which was released in 2008 on 29th of April. Alternative Press has called this band “The Cab” as “The Band You Need to Know 2008″.
Demo music was recorded by the band members Cash Colligan and Alex Deleon while studying at the “Liberty High School Henderson, Nevada” who actually started playing musical instruments during their school life. Their demo recordings were put by them on the pages of MySpace. Another member of the rock band Ian Crawford started showing his guitar talent in the different talent shows and put his performances on YouTube.
Alex Johnson (drummer of the band) was asked by the Alex Deleon to join the band “The Cab”. Alex Johnson was previously working with the local bands. The band reached its full strength in the end of year 2005 in which Paul Garcia (guitarist), Alex Marshall (pianist / guitarist) and Alex Johnson (drummer of the band) were included. First show of this band “The Cab” was performing at “The Alley in Las Vegas”.
“The Cab” was placed on the 75th position by the “Blender” in the month of September 2007 for their chart of “Top 100 Hot Report” before releasing of any official album by the group. This group has performed while touring with “Plain White Tees”, “Dashboard Confessional”, “Forever the Sickest Kids”, “Charlotte Sometimes”, Cobra Starship” and with many others.
