Speculations are being made and it’s being said that Tiger Woods accident occurred due to drunk driving but the official reports revealed by the highway patrol police are saying something contrary to the rumors. The highway patrol police said that alcohol was not a factor in the accident and has denied the rumors spread by the paparazzi that Woods got injured due to drunk driving.
According to the details, the 14-time golf champion had an accident near his resident in Florida. The earlier reports say that Woods lost control of his Sports utility vehicle and hit a fire hydrant and a tree which was located not too far from his home. The incident happened at 2:25 am local time. It appears that he slipped off the road and smashed into a fire hydrant which was present only a few meters from his house and later hit a tree. Tiger Woods wasn’t injured seriously and received some facial bruises. He was found semi-conscious in his SUV when his wife came running from his home to rescue him. She used one of her husband’s golf clubs to break the car’s window glasses and pulled her husband out of the car. When the police arrived, the golf champion has blood in his mouth and bruises on his lips. He was admitted to the hospital where he was treated by the doctor immediately and was released after a short stay. Later an official statement was released from Wood’s spokesman who said that the champion had a minor accident and is now in ‘good condition’.
Police investigated into the matter and has revealed some information based upon the first investigation report. The investigation report denies all rumors which say that the golf champion was driving speedily or was drunk while driving. The highway police say that his SUV’s air bags didn’t open when the accident occurred, which means that he was driving at a moderate speed. They also said that the officers have not found any signs of alcohol.
Tiger Woods is scheduled to play in the Chevron World Challenge which is beginning next Thursday December, 4. His spokesman says that he did not know if Woods plans to play in the event.
