With an extremely controlled environment Tiger Woods interview today could be considered his first public confession since his mishap in November last year when he was involved in a car accident. The accident came on thanksgiving day which fell on the twenty-seventh of the month. Tiger Woods made a public apology to all those affected by his misdemeanor regarding his affairs with other women.
In Tiger Woods interview today he said that he had been unfaithful to his lover and wife Elin Woods by having affairs with other women. He was of the view that his mistakes in this regard had led him to take a look at his life from a completely different viewpoint saying that he would never commit the same mistakes again.
Tiger Woods interview today was held in front of a group of forty people who he called his friends, supporters and fans. The group also incorporated his mother Kultida Woods who is better known as Tida. The interview took place at the clubhouse which hosts the PGA tour in Florida.
Woods, who is the leading golfer of his day and age, said that he would like to extend an apology to all those parents who pointed him out as someone worth looking up to as a role model to their children and that he was ‘truly sorry.’
To his wife Elin, who did not make an appearance at the interview, he said that there weren’t words with which he could apologize, rather he would show her his sincerity through time when his actions will speak on his behalf.
Woods has been in a rehabilitation center in efforts to resolve his compulsion towards sexual activities and says that he will continue therapy.
