Tila Tequila allergic to alcohol is a white lie, according to the owner of the nightclub, Stingaree, in San Diego’s Gaslamp District, where Shawne Merriman spent time with TV personality Tila Tequila on Saturday, 5,sep. He has rebutted her claim that she was not drinking, preceding to the arrest of the Shawne Merriman, a football player, Sunday morning.
James Brennan, the owner of “Stingaree nightclub” willing to defend his city’s sports star. According to him, his employees who were attending the couple told Brennan that the MTV star was drinking tequila and she also took a bottle of vodka. The nightclub tycoon said he felt forced to reveal the truth after Tequila posted an untrue message on her Twitter page Sunday night, exacting that she was allergic to alcohol and she never takes a drink. He said the girl is a liar and is allergic to truth in spite of alcohol and Shawne Merriman is a nice guy.
Authorities said that tequila blamed the San Diego Chargers star choked her and threw her to the ground when she tried to depart his home after mid night at 3:45 a.m. She soon after signed a citizen’s arrest warrant and consequently Merriman has to face bogus custody about 2½ hours before posting bail. Officials reported that it would be up to the District Attorney’s office to decide rather Merriman will charge or not for the case.
Merriman didn’t accept the charge of assaulting Tequila and said he was trying to help the girl and concern about her safety but he didn’t know it will cost high.
