Born on 3rd November, 1988 in Scottsdale, Arizona Tim Alderson was the 22nd overall in 2007 Major League Baseball draft but according to reports Alderson has been recently traded with Pirates second baseman Freddy Sanchez in a deal. Tim Alderson Scouting Report: This 20-year-old, 6ft7”, pitcher weighing 210 lbs was ranked as the 4th best prospect in the San Francisco organization in the last season, regarding as their first two prospects are Mandison Bumgamer and Buster Posey, this is an honor.
Well if you compare Tim Alderson with Madison Bumgarner, it is not fair because Alderson cannot do thing he does, but still he was ranked as the 4th best prospect, his pitching range sits in low-90’s, with a curveball, which is getting better day by day and a very unconventional delivery and if you consider the fact that most of his deliveries are quite deceiving with absolutely no control issues what so ever, I believe his future is bright and shiny.
As far as Freddy Sanchez goes according to reports San Francisco Giants doctor after examining Freddy Sanchez’s knee said that he has no major defects in his knee, the deal in which Tim Alderson was traded with Sanchez went down yesterday 29th July in the afternoon.
According to our assumption Pirates will send a handsome amount of money to Giants, to cover the Freddy Sanchez’s contract money which is $2 million for the season.
