
Tom Braden
A well known personality to media but before coming to media who was he…? Tom Braden former CIA operative and served his country well in his CIA career he has faced a cold-war era. He has worked with CIA international Organization Division. Braden was involved in a covert operation in Europe trying to improve the American culture in Europe off course a secretly formed anti-communist front group.
He has also spoken to the media about the controversial operation in an article “Why I am Glad the CIA is Immortal” in Saturday Evening Post.
Braden is a native Greene, lowa. He was born in the year 1917 the date was 22nd February. His mother was a write and father has switched many jobs over the years including a job in a tie store and in a bank too.
The American mercury was the name of the magazine in which her mother used to write. Braden was dropped out of school and worked for a printing press in New York for a while but again started his studies and 1940 was the year he graduated.
1941, Braden joined Royal Rifle Corps in England but soon switched to U.S Army and was shifted to intelligence department CIA.
Braden married a girl name Joan and had eight children with her. In 1968 Braden moved to D.C with his wife’s family.
Braden also write his autobiographical “Eight is enough” his book became a television serial of ABC television network. Braden was also involved in a television talk show named as “crossfire” for BBC in 1982.
A tragedy struck him in 1994 when his youngest son Tommy died. His wife died in 1999.
Tom Braden died at the age of 92. A well managed and well spent life. Tom Braden a former CIA operative a columnist and a very good talk show co-host.
