Tom Dreesen was born on 11th of September, 1942 in Harvey, Illinois exactly in south of Chicago. He grew up at birth place; the family of Tom Dreesen was one among few white families in a largely “African American” community. Tom Dreesen is a stand-up comedian of America, he has made above five hundred appearances on Television as a stand-up comedian from which about sixty appearances on the Tonight Show also involved. Tom Dreesen is a favorite and regular guest of David Letterman; he has also hosted the show in the absence of David Letterman.
Tom Dreesen met with Tim Reid through a local Jaycee chapter during his working in 1968 as insurance salesman. After then both teamed up to appearance as 1st biracial Stand-Up comedy pair in the US. Because of their material which is now measured cutting-edge for its time, the duo struggled to formulate a living jointly and split up in the middle of 1970s.
Though, each establish individual success, while Tom Dreesen became a frequent on “The Tonight Show” and toured with “Frank Sinatra” as opening act of the crooner, and Reid landed a role on “WKRP” in Cincinnati. Tom Dreesen released his comedy album with “Flying Fish Records” which is called “That White Boy`s Crazy” in 1989.
Tom Dreesen also continues to perform today as well. In addition he involved in charitable activities and hosts a yearly celebrity golf tournament which is known as “Tom Dreesen Celebrity Classic”. Tom Dreesen, Ron Rapoport (a former sportswriter of Chicago Sun-Times) and Reid finished the book in 2008 as “Tim and Tom” (An American Comedy in Black and White).
