Tony Kornheiser has been replaced by Jon Gruden on “Monday Night Football” on ESPN Jon has taken the seat of the vacant broadcast booth. Tony Kornheiser was fired from the job as a broadcaster earlier by the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. After 3 years of mentioning his flying fear Tony Kornheiser has been exchanged by Jon Gruden finally. John Madden a famous MNF announcer was also been retired in last month from his job as TV announcer.
Jon Gruden a 45 year old who spent half of his life’s time coaching football teams said that the chance has come in his life in a perfect time and now he will be able to see things with a different angle. He also said that it is a shame that I do not know numerous things about other part of life and this is going to be a chance for me to start over.
While Tony Kornheiser will be appearing on “Pardon the Interruption” an ESPN presentation regularly.
A statement released by ESPN in which Tony Kornheiser said that his fear of flight is very old and true and I was seeing a continues movement from bus to air in the coming season, also mentioning Jon he said if I would have to pick my replacement for the job I could not have done better than this. Also comparing his self with Jon, Tony Kornheiser said that he is funny and smart these are the two thing network demanded and the two additional things they get in the form of Jon and that is a tanned body and good haircut or at least hair.
Williamson highlighted that it was Tony Kornheiser’s selection to depart; he also said that MNF did not thought of replacing him with a non-football type.
