There are several communities which live in Canada. People from different countries and cultures reside in Canada. Canada is quite a peaceful country. The people from all regions live a peaceful life in Canada. There is a big Tamil community in Toronto. Most of them belong to Sri Lanka. There are some Tamil newspapers in Toronto as well.
Recently a Toronto newspaper office was attacked by some unknown people. The news paper was of Tamil origin. The Toronto newspaper office was attacked by some unknown people late Saturday night. The editor of the newspaper received a call from the attackers early morning on Sunday. The attackers told him that he had published news of his friends visit to meet president of Sri Lanka and as a result we have destroyed your office. The editor went to see his office and he was amazed to see it all broken up. The front windows had been broken and it seems as no one entered the office.
The editor protested on this act. A member of the Tamil community stated that he believes in freedom of expression but this is no way to express what you want. The police stated that the attack must have been done by a person from the Sri Lankan community. He further stated that he does not have any good feeling about the president. And he feels that the Tamil leader who went to meet the president is an agent of the Sri Lankan government. The fierce attack on Toronto newspaper office is condemned by all Canadians.
