As tension mounts between the Knicks and the Kings over the Tracy McGrady trade, we all sit here and wonder about which team will be able to dish out the most money. The going price for the contract has already reached a hair raising twenty-three million dollars and if the tough competition to buy Tracy remains this stiff I have a feeling that at least one of the teams is going to be facing some serious financial problems by the end of the Tracy McGrady trade.
The current situation is such that the New York Knicks need the Tracy McGrady trade to go in their favor so that they have a nice set up when summer comes this year. Though the Knicks will be giving up a lot when we consider their draft selection opportunities, the Tracy McGrady trade is something that Donnie Walsh really wants for it would help him release his burden which he carries in the form of a heavy contract in the name of Jarred Jeffries. The release of this contract will then allow Donnie to raise the cap on what he can spend on the salaries of players he might want to keep.
Tracy McGrady, also known as T-Mac, was born on the twenty-fourth day of May in the year 1979 and started his basketball career in the year 1997 when he was selected by the Toronto Raptors in that years NBA draft. He played with the Raptors for three years until he was traded to Orlando Magic where he played for another four years. In the year 2004 T-Mac was again traded by Orlando Magic to the Houston Rockets where he has been playing since then.
