Yesterday game saw an interesting victory by the Dodgers over Cardinal’s and Troy Glaus who was added to the roaster for this game was struck out by Dodgers’ Hong Chich Kuo in the seventh innings.
Dodgers had a shining victory with a score 5-3 against St. Louis Cardinals in Wednesday match of National League Division Series. Dodgers’ manager made some important decision about the team line-up just a few moments before the match and those decisions changed the shape of the whole game.
Initially the game was over taken by the cardinals as in the start of the first inning Cardinals were ahead of Dodgers in the scores but the end brought a completely different playground picture – Dodgers were 2 against Cardinals’ 1. In the later innings, Dodgers were pretty much successful in maintaining the grip on the game as we saw Dodgers maintaining a higher score than the Cardinals.
Cardinals had a rough time in the game. Cardinals’ Chris Carpenter couldn’t get his ball at the right place and his pitches were not so well. His balls were struck either down in the middle of the plate or went out of the strike zone. Troy Glaus, who missed most of the season’s games due to his surgery, was added in the postseason roaster for this game.
Troy Glaus was lifted right-handed and this movement didn’t turn out good for the Cardinals as Troy was struck out by the relieve pitcher Hong Chih Kao. Glaus swung and missed the shot three times stranding the runners in the middle.
