Former World Wrestler Entertainment (WWE) intercontinental Champion Umaga died of a heart attack. It has been reported that 36 year old Wrestler was discovered as dead by his wife at his home.
Edward Fatu, known as Umaga was reported dead on Friday. Umaga’s wife found him in a critical condition without breathing and his mouth was bleeding. He was taken to the hospital but he was declared as dead. The reason of the death was revealed as heart attack. His family confirmed his death.
Umaga was famous for a style during the fight in which he used to smash the opponents’ causing mouth bleeding. Ironically, he died as his mouth was bleeding.
Umaga was an American Wrestler, he got the training from his uncle, he joined World Wrester Entertainment (WWE) in 2002 and he was the main part of 2007 Wrestle Mania. The event was turned into the biggest selling paid event of the Wrestling History.
Umaga recently caught in a controversy this year for using unauthorized drugs. He was banned by the WWE for misconduct according to the drug rules and regulations of WWE.
Well, the sad demise of Umaga in such a young age of 36 again raised the question mark on the wrestler’s life. The average wrestler life is about 40 to 50 year and the main reason of short span of life for the Wrestlers is extensive usage of drugs.
The drug usage is very common in wrestlers for building up.
This issue needs serious attention to avoid the extensive and extra usage of drugs for the wrestlers; otherwise it will become a serious issue for the future of wrestlers.
Whatever the reason for the heart attack, it is strongly believed that drugs played a leading role in causing death to the wrestler.
