It has been reported that Logitech is working to introduce an external UMD attachment for PSP (Play station Portable); this is just a ridiculous idea. UMD attachment will not make the thing comfortable for the users of PSP.
Logitech is working on its own UMD solution for the Sony’s new portable play station and it will be attached with the memory port on the left side of the device. It will be attached in the same manner as other external hard disks. This will enable the users to play their games from the external console.
The rumor is about UMD attachment (Universal Media Discs) to make things more complicated for your PSP. They are working on manufacturing of a device a portable UMD attachment that will be used to watch movies or play games on your Sony PSP with another device attached.
The rumors are still need to be confirmed, if they are really working on the same, they are surly wasting the time. The price of the device and time is not available anywhere.
Well, the idea of replacing the UMD drive with flash drive is sounds logical, but this will just add up more price to the PSP go. If it’s true that they are working to introduce a drive for PSP, then one can’t understand how a portable device will work with a handheld device.
We are still trying to confirm the news but unable to do so. As soon as we get more news we will update for sure.
