Vai Sikahema is a former player of National Football League. He played the American Football as runner back and kickoff returner. He played for eight seasons starting from 1986 and ended up in 1993.
Vai started his career from the school level from Mesa High School, where he studied and played in the High School Football team. He continued his football career in college as well and played for the Brigham Young University while becoming the member of the National Championship team in 1984.
Sikahema played for several teams like Philadelphia Eagles, St Louis, Green Bay Packers and Phoenix Cardinals. His name was selected for the Pro Bowl for consecutive two years in 1986 and 1987.
He became famous in 1992 with a goalpost punch after scoring during his tenure with Eagles.
After his retirement he was hired by a television station WCAU, which was owned by the CBS at that time. He was hired to host the weekend show for sports. Later on the station was taken up by the NBC and he moved to weekdays and now he is the Director sports.
In 2008, he faced an open challenge from Jose Canseco, the former baseball player for fight on a celebrity boxing match and challenge was having the worth of $25,000. Jose has claimed that he had a black belt title under his belt in Muay Thai, Kung fu and Taekwondo. It was the show in Bernie Robbins Stadium of Atlantic city and the fight was named The War at the Shore on July 2008. Eventually the fight was won by the Vai Sikahema as he knocked Jose down in the first round and won the challenge easily.
Vai Sikahema was born in Tonga on 29th August 1962 and he is 5 feet 9 inches long and having the weight of around 195 lbs.
