The authorities both in Aruba and the United States of America are in a fix as to what to do with one of the prime suspects in the Natalie Holloway case. The Joran Vandersloot confession is looked upon by the related police departments as a teaser because it doesn’t really pin point the exact location of Natalie’s body. Joran, one of the three suspects was arrested after the Vandersloot confession was given to the police authorities on tape but then was released again when his case was dismissed after the court found the evidence to be insufficient.
Natalie Hollow was a young American student who had gone to Aruba to party after graduating from high school in 2005. She was last seen on the thirtieth of May sitting with Joran and two of his friends in a car and the first Vandersloot confession stated she had gone intro seizure after the two, Joran and Natalie had indulged in sexual intercourse on the beach. The Vandersloot confession said that he called a friend of his over who owned a boat and then they loaded the body into the boat so that they could take into sea and dispose of it. The second Vandersloot confession which was given to the Dutch newspaper called De Telegraaf claimed that he had hid the body in a swamp on the island.
After a whole year, Joran has agreed to be questioned by the investigators which has come as some sign of progress because before this he was keeping quiet on the whole matter using his right to remain silent.
