According to some Christian historians, the story of virgin birth by Marry was not a significant controversy at the time when such incident took place. They are of the view that people of later they were of the view that there is no concrete proof of the virgin birth by Marry.
They are of the view that even her name is mispronounced as “Mary” which was actually Mariam according to some gospels. They say the “miraculous birth” of Jesus Christ was first mentioned in gospels of Luke and Mathews around eighty years after the death of Jesus Christ and some years after the death of Mary. They say that the facts were fabricated in to fantastic stories. They are of the view that the controversy was seriously raised almost two hundred years after the death of Jesus Christ when religious factions correlated sexual pleasure with evil and promoted Mary as the noblest women and the one who didn’t experience sexual pleasure and gave a birth to child (Jesus) as result of some spiritual phenomenon.
On the other hand, the “virgin birth” was exploited by atheists to scandalize Mary with many “hidden stories”. Some of them were deeming it as a result of illegitimate relations of Mary with some of her relatives which remained secret and the act was portrayed as spiritual under the cloak of “miracle from God”. The critics highly criticize the “minor details” which the religious cults fabricated to grab the interests of lay-men.
On the other hand there are some religious experts who say that the latest scripture (Koran) wiped dust from the twisted facts and revealed that the Jesus was born when God ordained the Holy spirit to make her a virgin mother and it clearly shows that her birth was from God and not as the result of any “relationship” either of a human being or any spirit with Mary but as the consequence of God’s wish.
