“If the Birds Can Fly, Why Can’t I”
On the Walkway over the Hudson, you can feel as you are flying, like around 200 feet above, the longest bridge of the world can provide you, in the air ambiance. It was celebrated like any thing a day back, when the people enjoyed the celebrations and the atmosphere was electric on the walkway of Hudson.
From the Poughkeepsie to the Lloyd, the bridge of Duchess Country can be elaborated in simple words as more then 100 years old, more then 1 mile long and more then 200 feet above in the air, more than any bridge of the world and more then any feeling one could have. It is all about more then everything.
It is just a piece of art, in fact one of the best architecture on the globe. If you walkthrough the railroad of the Hudson in the summer, you can witness birds playing around the walkway, if you look down, you can find the river well populated with the boats, if you travel in winter, the icy wind and ice can be heard and seen running on the river. It is just a complete feeling of flying.
People gathered in thousands at the bridge on Saturday to celebrate the remodeled part of the bridge, the part of the bridge was damaged 35 years back. It took around 38 million dollars to do the job over Hudson River and it became 179th New York state park. The people enjoyed on the walkway by playing, music, jumping around and it was all colorful and the fireworks made the celebrations more exciting.
