Fox News has reported that the wife of Senator Max Baucus, Wanda Baucus, was the last one to inform that she is divorced. The senator has been in relationship with her girl friend Melodee Hanes but he had been in denial of the allegation.
It is reported that Hanes had already met the divorce attorney eight months before the divorce in order to “energize” and “vitalize” the divorce process between the couple. The marital life of Sen. Baucus continued successfully for twenty five years. But the new mistress of the senator played a dynamic role in the separation as if she already had outlined the “project’s implementation”.
The irony of the fate is that the Sen. Baucus has denied the allegations that Hanes aggravated the situation and sowed the seeds of hatred between the couple. Rather he is of the view that he had no romantic tendency towards his former staff member until he got separated with his wife. On the other hand, there is substantial evidence of the paramour’s passionate tendency towards her. Sen. Baucus increased her salary by $14,000 and took her with him on an official visit to Asia and Middle East. Last but not the least, she was appointed by him as Montana’s U.S. Attorney.
When Hanes was asked by the media about her interference in the private matter of divorce of the senator, she hypocritically responded that the matter of a divorce is a crucial one and should not be popped out of the boundaries of the home. She told that in no way a third person has the right to intervene in the private matters. The “verbosity” and hypocrisy of the politician and his mistress has disturbed the people who take the U.S. leaders as their role models. They have started to think that the U.S. is heading towards utter hypocrisy and gimmickry setting aside true values of morality.
